Dr. Sandhya Ramanujam is a leading dental practitioner, proficient in all phases of dentistry and specializes in the placement and restoration of Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry. She has worked extensively in the US, India and Nigeria in a clinical and academician capacity. She has been practicing dentistry for 30 years.

Her forte include Smile Makeovers utilizing implants, crown and bridge work and veneers. She plans out and executes the' teeth in an hour' concept with dental implants.
Her vast experience as a dental auditor for insurance companies led her to complete a post graduate program in Medico Legal Ethics from the Prestigious National Law school, India
She has set up a State of the Art Dental Wing at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria which is a 450 bedded hospital performing the most intricate procedures using highly specialized equipment. She is currently involved in setting up a Dental University at the Afe Babalola Teaching Hospital campus and is on their Faculty.
She enjoys speaking at various conferences pertaining to Dentistry and Applied Behavioural Sciences. Being an avid academician she routinely gives lectures internationally, on topics related to Patient care and documentation, Dental Law, Implantology and Aesthetic rehabilitations. She integrates the necessity of good communication skills for dentists in her lectures.
She has authored a book on “Medico Legal Aspects For The Dental Practitioner” which was been published by Jaypee Publishers in 2010. She is currently working on her second publication on Practical Implantology.

She is a Distinguished Toastmaster and has held the position of a Division Director District 92. She believes in the need for developing public speaking skills and with that intent she started a Gavel Club for the youth and has held over 75 Youth Leadership Training programs.

She also owns a Holistic practice called Saama Wellness Center, in San Diego, California. The center offers Hypnotherapy sessions, Counselling & Holistic workshops through self-inquiry which nudges the patient towards self-realization, self-actualization and self-empowerment. They also render employee wellness, stress management, and effective communication programs. Her strong belief in the Mind-Body integration has led her to delve deeply into holistic sciences such as hypnotherapy, the inner child, law of attraction and heal your life concepts. That, coupled with a Masters in Psychology and
International Coaching Certification has caused her to pursue the healing of the body through the mind. She works with her clients by helping them look inward to seek answers and work on themselves. She believes that we each have the Power within us to take control of our lives. She works with women empowerment groups helping women in toxic situations regain control of their lives. She has a very strong spiritual grounding and has enhanced her understanding of the Universe by studying the Vedic sciences, Psychology & Hypnotherapy. Her background in medical training gives her an enriched understanding of the body and a very practical, result-oriented approach towards Spirituality & Holistic Healing.

She is an active Board Member of SD Nari- a San Diego-based, Non-Profit organization for South Asian women in need. She
also serves on the Advisory Board of Salveo Healthcare.

She currently resides in San Diego, CA. She loves walking on the beach and finds it meditative. Coming from a close knit Army family, she has a zest for life. She enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and exploring new places and is always open to new experiences in life.

Dr Kimberly Tran has joined Bernardo Dental Care after selling her dental practice in Rochester, NY to relocate from the East Coast to the West Coast.

Dr Tran was the founder and owner of her successful practice, Empire Dental Care, for over 20 years.

Dr Tran will be proud to serve patients at Bernardo Dental Care. With over 25 years of professional experience, Dr Tran is committed to providing the highest level of dental care to her patients with a gentle, caring touch. She is dedicated, gentle, and compassionate . Throughout her career and personal life, Dr Tran has shown her genuine compassion and care to all people and patients. She has provided patients with personalized, relaxed and pleasant dental visits. Dr Tran believes that skill and compassion should go hand in hand and that each patient is a unique individual who has placed their trust in her and that is why she values each and every patient relationship.

Dr Tran is a graduate of the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo. As a dental health professional, Dr Tran wants her patients to be confident that she is skilled and committed to continuing education and training. Dr Tran relocated to San Diego with her husband to be closer to their children. She enjoys exploring the lovely San Diego region, hiking, bike riding, playing pickleball, cooking and gardening.
